Friendly, communicative and beautiful, a stunner like that wandered into someone’s backyard begging for food while heavily pregnant. If she wasn’t with the right pair of hands her fate would’ve been dire. Luckily the lovely lady, lady J, who started feeding her noticed the belly size and took her to the vet. The story continues.

#projharmonystory Chapter 2: HARMONY was lucky to meet a nice lady, lady J, who fed her and noticed that she was pregnant. She was taken to the vet who then contacted the local rescue group, Urban Kittens at Botany NSW. Rescue groups however, are stretched as usual, so many cats in need with resources so limited. Can Urban Kittens help? The story continues.

#projharmonystory Chapter 3: The Sun, the Moon and the Earth aligns once in a while. Urban Kittens was reaching out for foster carers, and we were seeking. And the rest is history. HARMONY and four bubs arrived when they were only ten days old! So precious! The story continues.

#projharmonystory Chapter 4: And there they were, three boys and a girl still with their eyes closed, ears folded, little wiggly furballs no bigger than the palm of our hand, snuggled and sucked all day. When the four finally were asleep at the same time, HARMONY tiptoed out to stretch her legs, and perhaps to get some fresh air. As a mother myself I can totally empathise with that. #projharmonystory Chapter 5: We weighed the kittens everyday and became stressed when they weren’t gaining weight. We lied in their nest with a camera knowing they wouldn’t stay long in that baby phase. We were so taken by the experience that we didn’t want to think about that one day, when members of this family would go their separate ways. The story continues.

#projharmonystory Chapter 6: The lady who first found HARMONY fell in love with her and so they’re together now. The three boys were welcomed with open arms by a lovely couple who has gone through a recent loss. A young family found MILKY, and she and their children will become best buddies. Aren’t these fairy tale endings? The love continues, and this makes letting go as foster parents a little bit easier. And that’s the end of HARMONY’s story. Who’s story will be next?
